Libya: Airstrike kills Civilians in Tripoli

The Libya health ministry said on Monday that at least four children were killed in the country’s capital. The killing occurred after an airstrike hit a civilian area in a southern neighborhood of Tripoli.

Malek Merset health ministry’s spokesman says the strike wounded a fifth child. The interior ministry blamed the Libyan National Army for the airstrike.

Libya’s UN-backed government forces stated in another report that  airstrike’s within 72 hours have killed 14 children and injured at least 10 other civilians in Libya, on Sunday.

Presidential Council in Libya on Monday said “those terrorist attacks are committed by war criminal Khalifa Haftar’s warplanes that are backed by foreign countries”.
